GCA provides a structured orientation for all international students. Staff are available daily to support academic, social, and cultural adjustment. Monthly progress reports (often with photos) are sent to families to keep them involved.
Tutoring is available at an extra cost for students needing extra academic support.
Students can earn up to 12 college credits through AP and dual enrollment. With an average SAT score of 1440 and a 100% graduation and college acceptance rate, students are fully prepared for university success.
GCA partners with carefully screened host families who provide safe, nurturing homes. This cultural immersion enhances students’ English and gives them firsthand experience of American life. Meals and weekend support are included.
Weekdays: Breakfast and dinner at home; lunch brought or purchased locally.
Fridays: Pizza lunch option.
Weekends: All meals at the host home.
Group outings and NYC trips organized by staff.
Join activities like Drama Club, Fencing, Volleyball, Math Olympics, American Heritage Girls, and more. Students also participate in trips and service projects throughout the year.
