Grammar School Teacher’s Aid and Permanent Substitute

Hours: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Grace Christian Academy, a Christian Classical school committed to nurturing both academic excellence and spiritual growth, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Grammar School Aid starting for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who have a passion for young students in a Christ-centered environment, as well as a first step in potentially becoming a lead teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an extra set of eyes, ears and hands to teachers of grades k-2.
• Serve as an on-campus substitute for any absent teacher in grades k-12 (student work will be provided).
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere that aligns with Christian values.
• Integrate Biblical teachings into academic lessons and classroom activities.
• Assist classroom teachers with regularly assessing student progress and providing feedback to both students and parents.
• Participate in faculty meetings and school events as required.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the holistic development of each student.

Qualifications:

• Clear testimony of salvation.
• Good standing membership in a Bible-believing church.
• Strict adherence to the 5 Solas of the Reformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in virtually any field.
• Desire to teach and disciple grammar school students.
• Willingness to be trained in Classical pedagogy.
• Previous experience teaching in home school or corporate school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A deep commitment to the mission and values of Christian Classical education.
• Ability to integrate faith into daily lessons and classroom activities.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
